Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2026

1. Overview and Core Privacy Commitment

At SuweldoTools (accessible via suweldotools.com), we believe that personal salary and compensation inquiries should remain completely confidential. This Privacy Policy documents our data handling practices and reinforces our commitment to safeguarding your privacy.

Crucially: We do not collect, transmit, record, or store any salary numbers, allowance figures, or financial deductions you enter into our tools.

All salary calculations, Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) bracket determinations, and TRAIN Law withholding tax evaluations are performed exclusively within your device's browser using client-side JavaScript. No payroll information is transmitted over the network or saved in any database. When you close or refresh your browser tab, your entered figures are instantly cleared.

2. Cookies and Storage

SuweldoTools does not deploy advertising cookies or cross-site advertising tracking mechanisms. However, because public pages use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website traffic and general usage, Google Analytics may set and read first-party analytics cookies (such as _ga and property-specific analytics cookies) in your browser to distinguish visits and aggregate session statistics.

In addition, SuweldoTools uses standard local browser storage strictly for site functionality on your device:

  • localStorage: Remembers your selected language preference between English and Filipino/Tagalog (suweldotools_lang and suweldotools_explicit_lang) and records when you dismiss a site-wide announcement banner (suweldotools_announcement_dismissed) so it is not repeatedly shown.
  • sessionStorage: Temporarily holds your current calculator inputs in your browser tab when you switch between the English and Filipino/Tagalog versions of a calculator (suweldotools_calc_handoff, which is cleared immediately after the destination page loads your values) and remembers if you dismiss the language-suggestion banner during your current tab session (suweldotools_lang_banner_dismissed).

3. Advertising and Analytics

SuweldoTools uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on public pages to measure website traffic and understand general usage patterns. Google Analytics may collect standard usage information (such as pages visited and session duration), device and browser information (such as device type, operating system, and browser version), and general interaction data. In our site's application code, salary figures, allowances, working-hour inputs, and payroll deduction values entered into our calculators are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to Google Analytics through our code, URLs, or custom analytics events (note that SuweldoTools cannot control third-party browser extensions or external software installed on your device).

SuweldoTools currently does not use Google AdSense or third-party advertising services. In our site's GA4 tracking snippet, we explicitly configure allow_google_signals: false and allow_ad_personalization_signals: false to disable Google Signals and advertising personalization at the tag level (while noting that code-level tag settings are separate from Google Analytics property-level Admin console settings). If third-party advertising services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

4. Server Logs

Like virtually all web hosts (including static content delivery networks like Cloudflare Pages), standard HTTP request logs (such as requesting IP address, user agent, date and time of request, and requested URL) are automatically generated for essential cybersecurity defenses, preventing denial-of-service abuse, and maintaining network stability. These logs contain no personal user names or salary details and are routinely purged.

5. External References & Government Portals

Our documentation and educational articles cite official statutory sources, including the Social Security System (sss.gov.ph), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (philhealth.gov.ph), Pag-IBIG Fund (pagibigfund.gov.ph), and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (bir.gov.ph). We do not administer these external websites and encourage users to review their respective privacy policies when visiting them.

6. Inquiries and Contact

If you have questions about our privacy practices, you may contact our editorial team at contact@suweldotools.com.
